Julie R Rodriguez
Owner & Principal Designer
“Julie is a rare individual whose talents cannot be defined by the title Interior Designer.”
Guided by her natural design talent and soulful intuition, Julie Rodriguez and her company, éLAN Creative, continue to be one of the most sought-after teams across the United States. The founder and Principal Designer of éLAN Creative, Julie has innovated standard design processes, developing intimate relationships with clients in order to gain unique perspective about individual needs, style, and taste. For the last two decades, Julie has worked passionately to create a portfolio that speaks for itself, each project simultaneously timeless and tailored.
Transitioning seamlessly from residential and commercial projects, Julie’s work spans from luxury custom home projects and serene vacation retreats to approachable remodels and desirable office spaces. An artist that understands the nuances of mixing textures, patterns, and colors in order to evoke distinct moods and personalities, Julie’s clients dive deeper than just current trends, discovering style and design that can be sustained for years to come
A member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), Interior Design Society (IDS), Home Builders Association (HBA), and Window Covering Association of America (WCAA), Julie’s professional standing goes hand-in-hand with her desire to constantly be learning and exploring. Currently she is pursuing advanced skills and certifications in the areas of:
Sustainable Building Products + Green Construction Methods
Living in Place Design
Architectural Lighting Design
Private Jet + Yacht Interiors
But it’s Julie’s desire to give back through her talent that really underscores who she is as both a person and a designer. The president of the Ozarks chapter of Savvy Giving by Design, Julie and her dedicated team at éLAN Creative work with area children who have been diagnosed with life-threatening conditions. By designing new rooms for these children and their siblings, Savvy Giving by Design helps to create joyful moments for healing, and a place that reminds them that they are held by their community. Julie and éLAN Creative are also proud supporters of Habitat for Humanity and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
In addition to her work as a designer, Julie offers her experience and knowledge to up-and-coming designers around the country who are looking to start or grow their businesses. From one-on-one coaching calls to virtual training and unique in-person workshop experiences, Julie is committed to growing a talented community of successful designers.
The mother of five beautiful children, Julie loves spending time with her family and their animals. An accomplished seamstress, Julie began her design journey by creating beautiful soft furnishings and continues to work on new projects at home. Deeply rooted in her local community, she gives much of her time and resources to charities in need. Her dream is to someday soon enjoy a month-long Mediterranean cruise, adding more travel to her busy life in order to explore the world for treasures, which she will, true to her giving nature, bring back for client projects.
Though her career has taken her down many paths, Shelby has always been driven by her passion. She discovered a love for teaching after 14 years in the dance world, leading her to study Early Childhood Development. Ultimately, though, her talent in interior design shone through.
Shelby fell in love with interior design from a young age thanks to her relatives in the remodeling industry. After a few years working as a freelance designer, she was hired by Lowe’s to head a kitchen and bath remodeling program before joining éLAN Creative in early 2019. Her design eye is inspired by her traveling spirit, and she loves picking up unique trinkets for her home on her travels—especially in New Orleans, her favorite destination.
Studio & Procurement Manager
Although her background is in education and working with special needs children, Jennifer, who started working at éLAN Creative in 2016 as Julie’s design assistant and coordinator, is right at home in the design world. Adaptable, intuitive, and full of vision, Jennifer’s talents allow her to organize and oversee projects, observing and anticipating what needs to be done next – and then doing it! Incredibly organized and a skilled communicator, Jennifer is a cornerstone in everything éLAN Creative does.
A native to northwest Arkansas, Jennifer is a mother of four, grandmother of two, and a self-proclaimed coffee addict.
Sydnie R Myers
Styling & Event Coordinator
Growing up behind the scenes, Sydnie has worked on developing and refining her artistic eye for design since she was little. The daughter of éLAN Creative’s founder, today Sydnie’s skills guide the success of the company’s styling and event management services, gaining experience in non profit galas as well as private events. Naturally creative, Sydnie is passionate about social media and graphic design. She spends her spare time making and designing jewelry for her own business, Dreamy & Darling Creations.
Married in 2015, Sydnie and her husband Morgan just welcomed their first child and couldn’t be more excited!
