From owning and operating her own window treatment fabrication business at 23 years old, to working with dozens of high-end furnishings brands on the vendor side, to heading up a corporate kitchen and bath design team, Julie Rodriquez has a remarkable depth of knowledge and breadth of experience.

As the founder and principal designer of éLAN Creative, Julie has innovated standard design processes, developing intimate relationships with clients in order to gain a unique perspective about individual needs, styles, and tastes. She is committed to designing functional solutions to enhance and improve her clients’ quality of life, work, and home by creating and building innovative atmospheres that inspire creativity, promote well-being, and improve productivity. For the last two decades, Julie has worked to create a portfolio that speaks for itself, each project timeless, tailored, and uniquely personal to the client.

Transitioning seamlessly between residential and commercial projects, Julie’s architectural interior design work spans from luxury custom home projects and serene vacation retreats to approachable remodels and inviting office and hospitality spaces.

As an artist who understands the nuances of mixing textures, patterns, and colors in order to evoke distinct moods and personalities, Julie dives deeper than just current trends, discovering style and outcomes that can be sustained for years to come.

Through strategic partnerships with expert vendors, trades, and craftspeople, the éLAN Creative team is able to offer turnkey services from concept through detailed execution.

Julie is a Certified Living In Place Professional™, through the Living In Place Institute in Louisville, Colorado. Certified Living In Place Professional™ (CLIPP™) graduates include architects, home builders, home remodelers, contractors, kitchen & bath, and interior designers who are trained in how to design, build, and remodel homes for people of all abilities. Under this designation, Julie works directly with developers and other housing professionals, as well as with homeowners, their caregivers, and their medical providers, in modifying homes to reflect and provide for their accessibility needs.

Julie’s deep desire to give back through her talent underscores who she is both personally and professionally. As the president of the Ozarks chapter of Savvy Giving by Design, Julie and her dedicated team at éLAN Creative work with area children who have been diagnosed with life-threatening conditions. By designing new rooms for these children and their siblings, Savvy Giving by Design helps create joyful moments for healing, and spaces that remind them their community holds them in its heart. Julie and éLAN Creative are also proud supporters of Habitat for Humanity and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

In addition to her work as a designer, Julie offers her experience and knowledge to up-and-coming designers around the country who are looking to start or grow their businesses. From one-on-one strategy calls to virtual trainings and unique in-person workshop experiences, Julie is committed to using her knowledge and experience to help grow a talented community of successful designers.

The mother of five beautiful children, Julie loves spending time with her family and their animals. Deeply rooted in her local community, she gives much of her time and resources to charities in need. Her dream is to (someday soon!) enjoy a month-long Mediterranean cruise, and to add more travel in general to her busy life so she can explore the world for art and design treasures, which – true to her giving nature – she’ll no doubt bring back to incorporate into her clients’ spaces.

éLAN’s amazing team consists of creative and administrative experts who work together with Juile to ensure your projects run smoothly and efficiently, plus carefully vetted warehousing and moving specialists, tradespeople, and master craftspeople, all of whom work their magic under Julie’s direction on our clients’ behalf.
